The Red Fox is a superb hunter, mainly feeding on rabbit, field mice and voles. He is very resourceful and will eat carrion and prey on new born lambs. They are the smallest member of the Dog family. The Red Fox mates in the winter months and there offspring are called Kits, also refered to as Fox cubs.
