Jeremy Paul is a very talented artist who's career started out as a Marine Biologist. His work took him to Spain and very remote parts of Great Britain.
He lived and worked on the west cost of Scotland including an island with a population of only six. This was his first true experience of practically being alone in the wilderness surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. During this period and through the 1980's he developed his skill in painting, he is self taught and quickly learned the art of painting in layers with an extensive use of underpainting and glazes which he used to give his works more atmosphere and tone.
His paintings really give a feel of the given subject in its naturel environment. Some of Jeremy Paul's achievements are very impressive, he has won on three occasions BBC Wildlife Artist Of The Year Award 2010, 2011, 2012. Wildscape Magazine Wildlife Artist Of The Year Award 2008.
He has collections which can be seen around the world, at Nature In Art in Gloucestershire UK, Woodson Art Museum Wisconsin USA and Wildlife Fine Art ; Japan Wildlife Centre.
He now lives on the Isle Of Man with his wife and two children where he was asked to put on a private exhibition for the visiting King & Queen of Norway. The Isle Of Man gives Jeremy lots of inspiration and an opertunity to paint some stunning works of art of the local wildlife in its beautiful habitat & surroundings.
